Jay Krumbholz

Dr. Jay Krumbholz is a 27-year member of the BHS and lives in Spokane, WA. He's a former MUS judge and sings with the local Spokane, WA chapter. By day, he is a music theorist at Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC), where he teaches courses in music theory, music appreciation and film music. At the college Jay also directs student barbershop groups (when there's enough interest). Jay received his B.A. in Music Education from the University of South Florida, and later went on to pursue graduate degrees in music theory from the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati and the Eastman School of Music. He is currently writing a music theory text for barbershop singers.
